The Company and Role Purpose: 

Harte Recruitment is thrilled to collaborate with a new start up in Manchester. Operating and servicing a private portfolio of residential properties across Manchester, this Lettings and Property Manager position incorporates a full on 360-degree management of the portfolio.

The Package:

 

  • Basic salary £28,000 - £35,000 (D.O.E), OTE on top (min £6k)
  • Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch break)
  • HYBRID – 5 day working week, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with hybrid options, 2 days at home (Weds and Fridays), occasional Saturdays for appointments (as and when requested)
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (an additional day after 1 year) + Birthday off

Situated in the bustling heart of Manchester, this dynamic office is a key player in the local property market. As Lettings and Property Manager, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of managed lettings, ensuring each property is well-maintained and tenants are satisfied. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting inspections and inventories, managing check-outs, handling deposit returns, and resolving disputes.



The Lettings and Property Manager Role:


  • Building strong relationships to keep properties well-maintained and tenants happy
  • Carrying out internal and external inspections with detailed reports and recommendations
  • Overseeing the check-out process, deposit returns, and disputes with professionalism and care
  • Handling maintenance requests, working with contractors to ensure effective resolutions
  • Managing tenancy renewals and ensuring all paperwork is accurate and on time
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and lettings legislation
  • Supporting marketing efforts by creating property listings and conducting viewings
  • Monitoring rent payments, preparing financial reports, and assisting with maintenance budgeting


The Person:


  • Previous Property Management and/or Lettings experience (essential)
  • Experience in carrying out inventories and property inspections
  • Proactive, well-organised, and up-to-speed with lettings regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for handling diverse client needs
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the skills to juggle tasks effectively
  • Must have full clean UK driving license, pool car is provided
