These friendly visits take place during convenient times for both parties, such as on the way back from work, while running errands, or even dropping the kids off at school. By offering a listening ear, engaging conversation, and emotional support, the volunteer befrienders play a crucial role in the lives of those who may otherwise feel alone and disconnected from their communities.
